SBA representatives coming to Hilo
Small Business Association specialists and a top SBA lender will meet with prospective business owners and entrepreneurs to connect them with the best funding for their unique needs.
Business owners are invited to register for SBA’s Community Express Day, which is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the East Hawaii SBDC Network in Hilo.

Public invited to vote for best decorated trees
The Kona International Market is sponsoring the second annual Festival of Trees. Trees are decorated by various nonprofit organizations throughout the community. Voting by donations is taking place through Friday. The winning tree will be announced at noon Saturday.
All organizations receive all donations to their tree. The winning tree receives their donations and $400 from the Kona International Market.
The decorated trees are placed under the umbrellas at the Kona International Market, 74-5533 Luhia St. in the Old Industrial area. Ballots are available in the Food Court next to the Salvation Army Angel Tree. The suggested donation is $1 per vote.
